mCRM

mCRM is a customer-relationship-management (CRM) application for home-services businesses (chimney, dryer-vent, HVAC and similar trades). The purpose of mCRM is to help a business run its daily operation in one place: managing customers, scheduling appointments and work orders, creating estimates and invoices, handling phone calls and SMS, and sending customer email.

Google: two different Gmail connections

mCRM offers two Gmail connections, and they ask for different things. You choose which to connect, you approve it yourself on Google's consent screen, and you can end either one at any time from the app's Connections or Mailboxes screen.

Gmail (send email) — the gmail.send permission only. mCRM sends the email a person on your team composes to your own customers, from your address. It does not read, label, delete or otherwise manage the mailbox.
Company mailbox for enquiries — the gmail.modify and gmail.send permissions. Bought and website leads arrive as email, so mCRM reads the messages in the mailbox you connect to find customer enquiries, creates the lead from them, and marks, labels or archives a message once it has been handled; replies to a customer go out from that address. mCRM never deletes a message. What is kept: the message's date, sender, subject and body as read for the lead, and the lead record itself. The Google tokens are stored encrypted on our server and never leave it.

The single "Google — one sign-in" button in Connections asks for the Ads, Analytics (read), Search Console (read), Business Profile, Tag Manager (read) and Calendar (read) permissions together, so the app can discover every account behind that sign-in; each row below it connects one permission on its own.

Ending a connection is not deleting your records. Disconnecting revokes the token and stops all further reading and sending. Leads, messages and other business records that were already created from the connection stay in your account; deleting them is a separate request through the account and data deletion page.

How mCRM uses connections

mCRM asks only for the access a feature needs, each company's data is isolated, and access tokens are stored encrypted. mCRM's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
